Opening his eyes, Adam realised he was on a ghostly galleon. Adam’s heart was beating like a thousand drums playing at once. Twilight clouds twirl to make a tempest while waves crashed against the galleon. Adam was trying to keep his balance but he almost fell. All around, howling winds were like a wolf pushing against the galleon making Adam fall.
Raging seas crash against the coal black rocks. Maybe he would grab hold of the side of the boat? Unable to balance, Adam was flung to the other side of the boat. Darkness descended over the horizon. BANG! CRASH!

Opening his eyes , Adam woke up on a ghostly galleon and his heart was pounding like A` drum. 1 beat. 2 beats. Adam had crazy thoughts running through his mind. Where am I ? Perhaps the boat was lost at sea! Rain was pelting the boat while the hypnotising clouds circled Adams head. A ribbon of moonlight was shinning on the boat. Gripping onto the side of the boat, Adam squinted his eyes and looked to see if there was an island nearby. Like a wolf, the wind howls and rocks the boat from side to side. Adam tried to get his balance but couldn’t and fell.
Opening his eyes, Adam had found himself on a hard, stone path. Scanning the area, Adam saw old broken gravestones, dead lifeless trees and a long stone path. He wanted to see where it would lead. While walking along the mossy, stone path, he was determined to follow it. (On the inside however, his heart was thudding really fast like a drum and his courage faded). While walking towards the abbey, now scared and worried, he was hearing whispers say “scram” and “turn back “but he said to himself “there’s no turning back now”.
All of a sudden he woke up to the feeling of the heavy rain . As he started to get to his feet he fell over ! He couldn’t get up because the ghostly Galion was rocking like mad . Adam’s fists grew tighter as he tried to crawl to the side . The wind was howling like a wild Wolf in the night sky . Maybe the spine – chilling boat will crash against the rocks . What will happen next?
Opening his eyes, Martin was looking around. Martin’s stomach felt like water. Gripping onto his rucksack, martin was brave like a soldier. (scared and worried Martin was about to go back because he was terrified inside him .) Bravely, Martin was slowly walking to the endless path with spiders. Maybe he was going to walk back down the path.
In the distance, a boy called Martin saw an old, broken castle. Griping on to his rucksack , Martin looks brave on the outside. (Inside however he desperately wanted to go home.) Maybe Martin has over come his fear. But no. He went further up the path. Then he got to the top and rang the door bell.
Walking in trepidation, Martin looked at the sinister lights while they flickered on and off. Up above, hypnotising clouds swirled the area. Bravely and confidently, Martin walked along the dreadful path showing no fear. (Inside however, his stomach was swirling with fear.) Martin’s heart was beating like one thousand drums. One beat! Two beat! One thousand beats! The wind howled like a threatening wolf chasing its pray. Martin thought, maybe someone will find me and help me. As Martin walked up to the abbey, he felt breathing behind him. To be continued…
