We are very pleased for our year six children, after completing their SATs last week. Now we will be looking forward to preparing for our end of year performance ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ by William Shakespeare.
This term Leasowe class were lucky enough to experience meeting ‘Sophie’, a young dinosaur. Sophie, a T-Rex, was very friendly and children were able to interact with her face to face.
Prior to meeting this rare creature, children took part in a workshop involving uncovering real dinosaur fossils. They were able to study these fascinating artefacts and discover which dinosaurs each fossil came from, based on the characteristics they possessed. Children were able to link this to their previous science topic, involving how we categorise animals based on what they eat. Leasowe class, can you remember what herbivores, carnivores and omnivores eat?
